Thankbox is an online group card and gifting platform promoting employee appreciation in the workplace through e-cards, gift vouchers and physical gifts. The target audience are mainly remote or hybrid workers. The brand is fun, upbeat, appealing to a relatively young target audience of office managers, HR professionals and team leaders.
As Thankbox’s lead designer since its inception in 2020, I’ve been responsible for its visual identity and website designs, working closely with the founders and developers, as well as with marketing colleagues to help them implement brand assets across socials.

The brand in use
A small selection of assets and screens over the last 5 years. As Thankbox is a website and web app, though, the content and layouts are always changing as the team iterates to optimise the customer journey and conversion rates across multiple touchpoints. You can review the current website at thankbox.com.
The design system is made up of various blocks and components that are reusable across the site. This ensures users find different types of content easily, as it becomes visually familiar very quickly. The TrustPilot reviews from customers often mention how “easy” it is to use the website!

Barbara is the main reason Thankbox looks and feels as nice as it does. Her attention to detail and quality work are unmatched. Best designer I’ve ever worked with.
